The HRC Municipal Equality Index (MEI) reviews and rates municipalities with a score of 0 to 100 based on how city laws, policies, and services impact the LGBTQ+ people who live and work there. Cities are rated on non-discrimination laws, the municipality as an employer, municipal services, law enforcement and leadership on LGBTQ+ equality. Rainbow Dublin would like to acknowledge that the City of Dublin and its leadership are making strides to improve its HRC MEI rating. Dublin's most recent score does not reflect the addition of its non-discrimination ordinance.
